1.275 million Americans have a spinal cord injury, and the number grows daily.

 If you know someone that has suffered a spinal cord injury or is living with multiple sclerosis, ALS or another neurological condition, then you are aware of the catastrophic changes that happen to not just the injured person but to their whole family.  But are you aware of the cutting edge research being done at the Reeve-Irvine Research Center that is giving hope to these courageous survivors?  The Center, named after the late Christopher Reeve and philanthropist Joan Irvine-Smith, at the University of California, Irvine, is in the forefront of the very latest in research breakthroughs. Promising research suggests new and powerful treatments.

Raising funds for the Reeve-Irvine Research Center.

Research for Cure is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization, raising money for the Reeve-Irvine Research Center.  We do not pay salaries, or buy equipment or rent space.  Our expenses are limited to the cost of putting on our fundraising events, which are staffed by a growing number of volunteers.  To date, we have raised over $397,000 but we need your help.  Lack of substantial funding is slowing progress.  Please join us in our endeavors to cure paralysis.
